It is very grounded in humanity, nature, and doing ones best for themselves, others and the good of the world. Lao Tzu is a very well known Chinese philosopher and his quotes and works are definitely worth looking into. If you really dig it - I suggest you look into the works of Zhuangzi, his predecessor.
